Christianity: Protestantism

Christianity is the largest religion in the world with almost two billion believers worldwide; the Protestant sect of Christianity with around 800,000,000 adherents. Christian belief is centered on the life of Jesus of Nazareth, the Messiah and son of God.

The origin and history of Christianity traced back to Israel expanding into the Roman Empire, Europe, and eventually the Americas, Africa, Asia, and worldwide. The origin is illustrated as the darkest shade and expansion lighter as time passed. The different denominations of Protestants (Lutherans, Calvinists, and Church of England - Puritans, Baptists, Anglicans) are portrayed as patterns.
 The density of believers are shown in blue (darkest being most dense).
